Padulella

A stunning white beach, a paradise for snorkeling lovers.

Padulella beach thrills nature and tan lovers thanks to its turquoise and crystal-clear waters, pure white pebbles and cliffs overlooking the sea.

Sheltered by “Punta di Capo Bianco” it is the perfect place to go when Sirocco wind blows. It is also part of the Protected Environmental and Biological Area, and so perfect to practice snorkeling and discover all the marine species which live in its waters.

If you want to eat something or get comfortable, no worries: there are bars, restaurants, sunbeds, umbrellas and pedalo rental service.

How to get there

By walk, it is necessary to follow the road from Portoferraio town center in the direction of “Le Ghiaie” beach and follow the signs for Padulella. On the right side, take the pedestrian path which leads to the beach. The sight on the coastline and the Medicean fortresses of Portoferraio is wonderful.

By car, keep going down the main street to Capo Bianco, where you will find a wide long-term parking lot, and then walk towards the beach.
